Production Assistant – Zelba + Mary

Are you a passionate and skilled sewer looking for a work from home opportunity?

 

Zelba + Mary is a Twin Cities, Minnesota based small handmade textile toy company with a focus on exceptional, heirloom quality, handmade dolls and accessories.

 

Production Assistant Role

The role of Production Assistant primarily consists of sewing or knitting projects to build inventory. This is a contract, flexible work from home position with varied workload. Zelba + Mary will provide all materials and parts, the Production Assistant to provide all equipment necessary for the duties assigned. Candidates will be paid by project based on level of difficulty.

Responsibilities

  • Strong technical sewing skills with ability to work with small pieces.

  • Follow directions accurately and produce items with utmost care and precision.

  • Good time management skills with the capacity to work fast within a set schedule. 

  • Inspect finished products for imperfections.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Must provide your own equipment. Heavy Duty sewing machine and accessories, iron and ironing board, and other typical sewing tools.

  • Advanced sewing skills and knowledge of sewing materials and equipment.

  • Follow company procedures and directives.

  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace that is smoke free.

  • Maintain the tools used to create products.

  • Required to make inventory drops weekdays between 10:00 am – 5: 00 pm.

  • At this time we are looking for flexible contractors that can work up to 20 hours per week.
